Abhishek Sachdev, MD of Vedanta Hedging, was asked by the Parliamentary Commission on Banking Standards Joint Committee to give Expert Evidence on the topic of interest rate swap mis-selling.
The Panel included some of the most influential Government MPs and Lords part of the Treasury Select Committee – comprising:
Rt Hon Mark Garnier MP, Rt Hon Andrew Love MP, Rt Hon Pat McFadden MP, Lord McFall of Alcluith, Rt Hon John Thurso MP
Mr Sachdev was the only member asked by the Committee for this evidence, since he has acted an Expert Witness in High Court Cases.
Vedanta Hedging have advised the FSA, Government Ministers, Solicitors and Barristers on this complex issue.
